How Many Years of Warranty Do EV Chargers Have? By Model
Published · Updated

EV Easy chargers carry a 3-year warranty for Model U Gen 2, Model Black Gen 2 and the V3 series; Model Q carries 5 years. Installation by the EV Easy team is covered for 2 years, counted separately from the device warranty.
How long is the warranty for each model?
Warranty periods differ by model, according to each product page:
| Model | Type | Device warranty |
|---|---|---|
| Model Q | Wall-mounted | 5 years |
| Model U Gen 2 (including With DLB) | Wall-mounted | 3 years |
| Model Black Gen 2 (including With DLB) | Wall-mounted | 3 years |
| New V3 Pro, New V3 Prime, V3 Lite, V3 PRO22 | Portable | 3 years |
Among wall-mounted models, Model U Gen 2 and Model Black Gen 2 start from THB 11,900, and Model Q starts from THB 14,900 (the lowest variant price in our system).
How is the installation warranty different from the device warranty?
Installation by the EV Easy team is covered for 2 years, for damage caused by the installation circuit or related equipment. The device warranty covers the charger itself. The two are counted separately. See a real job: Model Q installation with cabinet and stand.
What does the warranty cover?
It covers damage from internal components that is not caused by misuse or external accidents, for example the unit not charging or the screen not turning on.
If the charger acts up, try the basic checks first in 4 common reasons an EV won't charge, since the cause is sometimes the electrical system or the car rather than the charger.
How do I make a claim?
Contact EV Easy customer service with the symptoms and the receipt from the channel where you bought the unit to start the claim.
Can it be repaired after the warranty ends?
Yes, with an inspection fee and parts charges as appropriate.
Which model should I choose if warranty matters?
For the longest device warranty and outdoor use, Model Q has 5 years and IP66 dust and water protection. For a typical home on a budget, Models U and Black have 3 years. Compare them in How do Models U, Black and Q differ? More warranty questions are on the FAQ page.
Summary
