What are the key features of the Autel Maxi?
According to the product specs, it is rated IP65 for dust and water and IK10 for impact, uses a Type 2 connector (IEC 62196-2), and connects via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet (LAN), CAN and RS485, with 4G as an option. You can start charging by app, RFID card or Plug & Play. Protections include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, leakage, short circuit and over-temperature.
The box contains the charger, wall mounting plate, mounting screws and 1 card.
Does EV Easy install the Autel Maxi after purchase?
Yes. Our technicians serve Bangkok, the surrounding provinces and the Eastern region; other provinces on request (travel fee applies). A real example is a 22 kW three-phase Autel install with a Max cabinet in Chachoengsao: a second circuit with a 50A 3-phase main breaker, 20A 3-phase sub-breaker and a 3-phase RCD Type B.
Before installation we assess the site from photos of your meter and fuse box, and send a technician when photos are not enough.
How long is the warranty?
The Autel Maxi device has a 5-year warranty. Installation by the EV Easy team has a separate 2-year warranty. Compare all models in How many years of warranty does an EV charger have?
Do I need an RCD Type B?
The product data states the Autel Maxi does not include an RCD Type B, so one should be considered at the fuse box. Learn what an RCD does in What is an RCD?. The Chachoengsao example used a 3-phase RCD Type B from Tongou x EV Easy.
Who is the Autel Maxi for, and what should I compare it with?
It suits homes or businesses that want rich connectivity such as Ethernet, CAN or RS485 for energy-management systems. If you want an IP66 charger with a large display, see Model Q, and read how to choose 7.4, 11 or 22 kW.
