What we installed at this home
- An EV Easy Model Q 22kW charger for 3-phase power, wall-mounted with a cable holder
- A dedicated charger circuit in a separate board, with Schneider breakers and a Tongou residual-current device
- The Model Q has a built-in RCD Type B circuit
- System tested with an electrical meter, then a real charging test before handover
Why 22kW for this home
A home that already has 3-phase power can use a 22kW charger at full power with cars that accept 3-phase AC, so charging finishes faster than with a 7.4kW unit. Cars that accept only 1-phase AC charge at the power the car supports. Read more: why a 7.4 kW car charges at 3.6 kW on an 11 kW charger
