How to choose an EV Charger

  • Choose the power (Wattage): choose a charger with a power capacity that suits your EV, for efficient and fast charging
  • Connection type: check that the charger supports Type 1 or Type 2 connection, whichever your EV uses
  • Charging speed: choose a charger whose charging speed suits your daily use
  • Size and installation: consider the size of the charger and how easily it can be installed in your parking space
  • Safety features: check that the charger has safety protection, such as short-circuit protection and overload protection

Which charger can your home take?

The right charger depends on your meter size, your existing electrical panel and the distance from the panel to your parking spot — not just your car model. Send photos of your panel and parking spot on LINE and our team will give you a first assessment, or see the four installation options and their pros and cons on our installation service page.
